Harnessing ChatGPT for Thematic Analysis: Are We Ready?
To date, several AI-based tools, such as AILYZE (James Goh) and Monkey Learn (Raul Garreta), are available to aid researchers in conducting thematic analysis [7,8]. For instance, AILYZE is able to summarize interview transcripts, provide suggestions for themes, and extract relevant quotes for each theme [7]. Nevertheless, full access to these tools often requires subscription payments, making them inaccessible for researchers and institutions that lack adequate financial resources.
