Promoting Hand Hygiene During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Randomized Controlled Trial of the Optimized Soapp+ App

Promoting Hand Hygiene During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Randomized Controlled Trial of the Optimized Soapp+ App

The results suggested that participants who dropped out were significantly younger than retainers (M1=39; M2=46; F1, 191=7.06; P=.009). Dropouts and retainers did not differ regarding sex (male vs female; χ21=1.72; P=.19), hand hygiene (F1,190=0.12; P=.73), intention to increase hand hygiene behavior (F1,191=2.36; P=.13), or intervention group allocation (χ21=2.04; P=.15). Hand hygiene behavior at T1, T2, and follow-up is summarized in Table 3.

Assessing Social Interaction and Loneliness and Their Association With Frailty Among Older Adults With Subjective Cognitive Decline or Mild Cognitive Impairment: Ecological Momentary Assessment Approach

Assessing Social Interaction and Loneliness and Their Association With Frailty Among Older Adults With Subjective Cognitive Decline or Mild Cognitive Impairment: Ecological Momentary Assessment Approach

After adjusting for the presence of global MBI symptoms, neither the average maximum daily social interaction score (relative risk ratio [RRR] 0.74, P=.42) nor the average maximum daily loneliness level (RRR 0.89, P=.76) were significantly associated with prefrail status. Similarly, no significant relationship was observed between the average maximum daily loneliness level and frail status (RRR 0.27, P=.10).

Effect of Smartphone-Based Messaging on Interns and Nurses at an Academic Medical Center: Observational Study

Effect of Smartphone-Based Messaging on Interns and Nurses at an Academic Medical Center: Observational Study

An active intern exchanged on average 39.8 messages (range: 26.8‐50.6) with nurses per day, while an active nurse exchanged on average 15.3 messages (range: 2.3‐37.2) with interns per day (P Message transactions between 96 nurses and 25 interns over a 5-month period, showing the total number of messages exchanged with nurses, with interns, and specifically between nurses and interns. (A) Hourly distribution of total message volumes exchanged between nurses and interns by hour of the day.

Consumer-Grade Neurofeedback With Mindfulness Meditation: Meta-Analysis

Consumer-Grade Neurofeedback With Mindfulness Meditation: Meta-Analysis

We conducted 2 different approaches, trim-and-fill, which corrects for publication bias in small samples, and 3-parameter selection models which explicitly model the proportion of studies below a p-threshold. We considered applying p-curve approaches, but they require at least 3 significant findings which was not the case for multiple models. A PRISMA flow diagram is shown in Figure 2 (PRISMA checklist provided in Multimedia Appendix 2).

Development and Systematic Evaluation of a Progressive Web Application for Women With Cardiac Pain: Usability Study

Development and Systematic Evaluation of a Progressive Web Application for Women With Cardiac Pain: Usability Study

The results of the review suggested that self-management interventions could reduce cardiac pain and associated symptoms if they targeted a greater proportion of women (standardized mean difference [SMD]=−0.01; SE 0.003; P=.02), goal setting (SMD=−0.26, 95% CI −0.49 to −0.03), and collaboration or support from a health care provider (SMD=−0.57, 95% CI −1.00 to −0.14) [33].
