Notably, Kim et al [39] highlighted the potential of home-based exercise programs in enhancing QOL among colorectal cancer survivors. However, contrasting results were reported by Dhillon et al [40], who explored the impact of physical activity on QOL among advanced lung patients with cancer, where it revealed no significant improvement during 2-, 4-, and 6-month follow-up periods [40].

However, in a study conducted by Walker [35] on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, it was found that when a medical alert occurred during the digital health monitoring process, it took a considerable amount of time to establish contact [35]. Such contact delays in urgent medical situations negatively impact patient health and safety, suggesting the need for improvements in the emergency response to digital health.
