Remote Foot Temperature Monitoring Among Veterans: Large Observational Study of Noncompliance and Its Correlates

Patients with a high risk of ulceration (mainly due to a history of foot ulceration; lower limb, foot, or toe amputation; or Charcot foot) are eligible for RTM (Kyle Nordrum, DPT, personal communication). The device is ready to use without any configuration or set-up. A temperature scan takes 20 seconds, and the temperature data are transmitted to the cloud using an embedded cellular component. All scans are timestamped, allowing for objective measures of use.
