The prevalence of preventable, long-term noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) presents a serious strain on the South African health care system, already under pressure from the burden of infectious disease management [1]. Although the causes of NCDs are multifactorial, there is consensus that lifestyle, including sedentary behavior (SB), is a major contributor [2].

There is a near lack of such data from the African continent raising concerns about generalizability, accuracy, and bias [22]. However, collecting even basic clinical information in low-resource settings is difficult, as existing medical records typically have less detailed information than those in high-resource settings and may be paper-based; the available results and findings are often incomplete and less accurate.

African-born immigrants and their children comprise a meaningful portion of the US population. The paper aims to describe the existing research gaps and experiences of cancer among African immigrant families and highlight the need to design and tailor cancer education for African immigrant families.
There was a surge in the African immigrant population between 1970 and 2015 [2].

HIV and Black People in Canada: Protocol for a Scoping Review
Some examples include HIV, Black, African, Caribbean, and Canada.
The list of references of the included studies will be examined for relevant articles.
We will search various government reports, dissertations, and other reports that are significant to this scoping review. Relevant organizations and authors will be contacted.

There is a need for data collection that specifically focuses on the impact of COVID-19 on the lives and health of African/Black communities across the globe in order to develop intersectional, culturally relative, antiracist/antioppression, and empowerment-centered interventions and social policies that support heterogeneous African/Black communities during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
