Acceptability of a Web-Based Health App (PortfolioDiet.app) to Translate a Nutrition Therapy for Cardiovascular Disease in High-Risk Adults: Mixed Methods Randomized Ancillary Pilot Study

Acceptability of a Web-Based Health App (PortfolioDiet.app) to Translate a Nutrition Therapy for Cardiovascular Disease in High-Risk Adults: Mixed Methods Randomized Ancillary Pilot Study

Our intention was to gather complementary data from quantitative and qualitative methods and then integrate findings within a data triangulation design [29], enabling us to draw metainferences regarding the acceptability and usability of the Portfolio Diet.app. These insights will not only inform potential refinements to the app itself but also guide the design of a future trial.

Feasibility, Acceptability, and Potential Effects of a Digital Oral Anticancer Agent Intervention: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Feasibility, Acceptability, and Potential Effects of a Digital Oral Anticancer Agent Intervention: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

The second aim is to determine the acceptability of the intervention. The definition and measures of acceptability are based upon theoretical framework of acceptability of health care interventions by Sekhon et al [35], which defines acceptability as a multifaceted construct reflecting the appropriateness of the intervention.

Patient Acceptability and Technical Reliability of Wearable Devices Used for Monitoring People With Parkinson Disease: Survey Study

Patient Acceptability and Technical Reliability of Wearable Devices Used for Monitoring People With Parkinson Disease: Survey Study

In practice, wearable devices are relatively rarely used due to several factors, such as unfamiliarity, unclear indications, cost, acceptability, and technical issues. Furthermore, although digital measures are considered to have high potential for future use to more accurately detect meaningful change in clinical trials, little data exist on their use and acceptability in clinical trials.

Exploring Climate Change’s Impact on the Cardiopulmonary Health of Adults Living in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland: Protocol for a Development and Usability Pilot Study

Exploring Climate Change’s Impact on the Cardiopulmonary Health of Adults Living in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland: Protocol for a Development and Usability Pilot Study

For the qualitative stage, the primary outcome is evaluating the level of acceptability of an interview guide to explore patients’ knowledge about climate change and its potential links with their ED visits, and the secondary outcome is an exploration of patients’ knowledge about climate change. Given the nature of the study, we decided to focus solely on cardiorespiratory comorbidities.

Acceptability and Effectiveness of a Fully Web-Based Nutrition and Exercise Program for Individuals With Chronic Disease During COVID-19: Randomized Controlled Trial

Acceptability and Effectiveness of a Fully Web-Based Nutrition and Exercise Program for Individuals With Chronic Disease During COVID-19: Randomized Controlled Trial

Acceptability, a primary objective of this study, was met with high rates of adherence and satisfaction. The adherence rate of 82% (105/128) exceeded our a priori level of 75% and is particularly noteworthy given the complexity of the intervention in combination with its fully web-based delivery and evaluation.

A Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–Based Digital Intervention for Reducing Hazardous Alcohol Use in South Korea: Development and Prospective Pilot Study

A Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy–Based Digital Intervention for Reducing Hazardous Alcohol Use in South Korea: Development and Prospective Pilot Study

The primary objective is to evaluate the app’s feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy in reducing hazardous drinking behaviors. In addition, the study examines secondary outcomes, including the impact of the intervention on symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and stress. The findings from this pilot study will be instrumental in refining the app’s features and content and optimizing the study design for a planned randomized controlled trial (RCT).

Digital Wellness Programs in the Workplace: Meta-Review

Digital Wellness Programs in the Workplace: Meta-Review

During the full-text screening process, it became clear that the central focus of the literature revolves around the efficacy and acceptability of DWPs. Thus, the initial questions were refined into the following specific research inquiries: What technologies and health domains have been investigated in prior research on DWPs? What do we know about the efficacy and acceptability of DWPs?

Adapting a Self-Guided eHealth Intervention Into a Tailored Therapist-Guided eHealth Intervention for Survivors of Colorectal Cancer

Adapting a Self-Guided eHealth Intervention Into a Tailored Therapist-Guided eHealth Intervention for Survivors of Colorectal Cancer

Both the survivors of CRC and the therapists gave written feedback on various feasibility measures, including usability, adherence, acceptability, and safety after each module and at the end of the intervention.

Text Messaging Interventions for Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Emergency Departments: Mixed Methods Assessment of Implementation Barriers and Facilitators

Text Messaging Interventions for Unhealthy Alcohol Use in Emergency Departments: Mixed Methods Assessment of Implementation Barriers and Facilitators

ED physician chairpersons from the 17 participating EDs received an email from the study team inviting them to complete a 13-item web-based survey of three validated 4-item scales assessing conceptually distinct, but interrelated constructs often used in formative research to examine implementation barriers: feasibility (eg, “A text messaging intervention for UAU seems possible in my ED”), acceptability (eg, “I would welcome our clinical team offering a text messaging intervention for UAU to patients during

A Classroom-Based Intervention for Reducing Sedentary Behavior and Improving Spinal Health: Pragmatic Stepped-Wedge Feasibility Randomized Controlled Trial

A Classroom-Based Intervention for Reducing Sedentary Behavior and Improving Spinal Health: Pragmatic Stepped-Wedge Feasibility Randomized Controlled Trial

Given the likely increase in children’s movement in response to a classroom-based intervention and the potential impact on teacher practice, determining the acceptability of the intervention was considered [11,12]. In addition, a pragmatic methodology to measure postural topography, physical activity, and spinal movement needed to be established before being implemented in a large trial. Furthermore, the integrity of data collected in a new environment needed to be assessed.
