Effectiveness of the Safe Step Digital Exercise Program to Prevent Falls in Older Community-Dwelling Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

Effectiveness of the Safe Step Digital Exercise Program to Prevent Falls in Older Community-Dwelling Adults: Randomized Controlled Trial

The primary aim of this randomized controlled trial was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Safe Step app in reducing fall rates and fall risk over a 1-year intervention period. Additional aims were to describe fall-related injuries in both the exercise and control groups, study attrition, and adherence to the Safe Step exercise program.

Digital Health Intervention Effect on Older Adults With Chronic Diseases Living Alone: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

Digital Health Intervention Effect on Older Adults With Chronic Diseases Living Alone: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

For adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, Aminuddin et al [20] examined the effectiveness of a smartphone app on self-efficacy, self-management activities, health-related quality of life, glycated hemoglobin, BMI, and blood pressure levels, finding that it led to improvements in health behaviors and enhanced the effectiveness of self-management activities [20].

Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists Combined With Personalized Digital Health Care for the Treatment of Metabolic Syndrome in Adults With Obesity: Retrospective Observational Study

Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists Combined With Personalized Digital Health Care for the Treatment of Metabolic Syndrome in Adults With Obesity: Retrospective Observational Study

Therefore, the aim of this study is to measure the effectiveness of GLP-1 and GLP-1/gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) medications when combined with a continuous, digitally delivered behavioral change model involving a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of Met S components and weight among individuals with obesity in the UAE population. Zone.Health, introduced by meta[bolic] [12] in 2023, is a value-based 6-month weight loss program designed to be used in combination with pharmacotherapy.

Acceptability and Effectiveness of a Fully Web-Based Nutrition and Exercise Program for Individuals With Chronic Disease During COVID-19: Randomized Controlled Trial

Acceptability and Effectiveness of a Fully Web-Based Nutrition and Exercise Program for Individuals With Chronic Disease During COVID-19: Randomized Controlled Trial

Our primary effectiveness outcome was the change in LEFS score from baseline to 12 weeks between the control and combined intervention arms. Secondary objective effectiveness outcomes included the 12-week change in objective physical function comparing the control and intervention groups for the 2-minute step test, chair sit-to-stand (30 and 60 seconds), plank, shoulder range of movement, and 1-legged balance.

Machine Learning–Based Explainable Automated Nonlinear Computation Scoring System for Health Score and an Application for Prediction of Perioperative Stroke: Retrospective Study

Machine Learning–Based Explainable Automated Nonlinear Computation Scoring System for Health Score and an Application for Prediction of Perioperative Stroke: Retrospective Study

Figure 2 illustrates this method by contrasting linear and nonlinear cases, where the latter demonstrates the effectiveness of the method in recognizing complex nonlinear relationships often present in clinical data. Differential slope change comparison: linear versus nonlinear cases. By isolating these key intervals, we delineated the feature value ranges that were most influential on the model’s predictions, thus allowing for a more accurate SHAP-based scoring system.

Patient and Clinician Perspectives on the Effectiveness of Current Telemedicine Approaches in Endocrinology Care for Type 2 Diabetes: Qualitative Study

Patient and Clinician Perspectives on the Effectiveness of Current Telemedicine Approaches in Endocrinology Care for Type 2 Diabetes: Qualitative Study

We previously completed a survey study of diabetes specialists on factors impacting the quality of diabetes care delivered via telemedicine, in which clinicians cited clinical complexity, as well as limited clinical resources to support telemedicine, as factors that reduce effectiveness [20]. However, clinician and patient perspectives on the benefits and limitations of current telemedicine care delivery and approaches to improve this care have not been explored.

Gamified Adaptive Approach Bias Modification in Individuals With Methamphetamine Use History From Communities in Sichuan: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

However, given the evidence of the effectiveness of CBM in treating various psychopathologies, it is crucial to address the issue of boredom and make the training more engaging and fun for participants to further enhance efficacy. In treating substance user disorders, Ap BM is a type of CBM training method aimed at counteracting approach biases and ultimately reducing the craving and usage of addictive substances.

Comparison of an AI Chatbot With a Nurse Hotline in Reducing Anxiety and Depression Levels in the General Population: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Comparison of an AI Chatbot With a Nurse Hotline in Reducing Anxiety and Depression Levels in the General Population: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

However, there is currently a lack of evidence on the effectiveness of AI chatbots in tackling mental health problems in the general public. Given the risk of anxiety and depression in Hong Kong and the limited availability of mental health services during the epidemic, this study aimed to compare the effectiveness of the developed AI chatbot with that of a conventional nurse hotline in alleviating psychological anxiety and depression in the general public.
