It aims to assess their awareness and use of mobile apps for i ADLs, pinpoint the factors that drive or inhibit their use, and ultimately establish a sustainable gerontechnology empowerment program (GEP) based on the empirical findings [10]. This program aims to enhance and empower older adults’ propensity, interest, adoption, and use of the latest mobile apps designed for i ADLs.

The complete list was sent to a panel of experts consisting of members from the WHO and the International Society of Gerontechnology, who were asked to add any potentially relevant journals missing from the list. After the list was considered complete, the authors identified the databases where these journals were indexed. The final selection of databases was Web of Science (Table 1), Pub Med (Table 2), and Scopus (Table 3).
