Evaluating Factors Affecting Knowledge Sharing Among Health Care Professionals in the Medical Imaging Departments of 2 Cancer Centers: Concurrent Mixed Methods Study

Evaluating Factors Affecting Knowledge Sharing Among Health Care Professionals in the Medical Imaging Departments of 2 Cancer Centers: Concurrent Mixed Methods Study

The purpose of this study was to evaluate knowledge-sharing practices among health care professionals at The Christie and KCCC, as well as identifying the current knowledge-sharing mechanisms and the facilitators and barriers that affect knowledge sharing among health care professionals in the medical imaging departments of the aforementioned 2 cancer centers. From this, we aimed to construct a new definition of knowledge sharing as it relates to medical imaging departments.

Personality and Health-Related Quality of Life of Older Chinese Adults: Cross-Sectional Study and Moderated Mediation Model Analysis

Personality and Health-Related Quality of Life of Older Chinese Adults: Cross-Sectional Study and Moderated Mediation Model Analysis

However, relatively few previous studies have examined how personality traits affect HRQo L, most of which have focused on young people or the general adult population, and the mechanisms between the 2 variables are controversial [7]. Therefore, the relationship and mechanisms between personality and HRQo L in older adults remain inconclusive, and further clarification and exploration are urgently warranted. The HRQo L of older adults can be affected by personality.

Adaptation in Young Military Recruits: Protocol for the Advancing Research on Mechanisms of Resilience (ARMOR) Prospective Longitudinal Study

Adaptation in Young Military Recruits: Protocol for the Advancing Research on Mechanisms of Resilience (ARMOR) Prospective Longitudinal Study

Understanding the neurobiological, cognitive, and social mechanisms underlying successful adaptation following military stressor exposure is essential for designing prevention and intervention strategies to enhance resilience in military populations [9]. However, the mechanisms and processes that facilitate resilience following military stressors remain poorly understood.

The Independent Walking for Brain Health Intervention for Older Adults: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

The Independent Walking for Brain Health Intervention for Older Adults: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

The Independent Walking for Brain Health study was a 12-week small pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT) conducted to determine the feasibility of using JIT heart rate–based feedback to help older adults independently meet PA recommendations of 150 minutes of MVPA per week [12,27], while collecting data on the plausible mechanisms of change (frontal and medial temporal cerebral blood flow [CBF] and cardiorespiratory fitness) that may affect cognition (memory and executive function) to help refine a planned

Measures of Daily Activities Associated With Mental Health (Things You Do Questionnaire): Development of a Preliminary Psychometric Study and Replication Study

Measures of Daily Activities Associated With Mental Health (Things You Do Questionnaire): Development of a Preliminary Psychometric Study and Replication Study

Although the specific mechanisms of change during psychotherapy are not well understood [7-9], the premise that these maladaptive patterns can be modified or changed underlies the teaching of psychological skills within several treatment approaches, including cognitive therapy [10], behavior therapy [11,12], mindfulness [13], and interpersonal therapy [14].

An Integrative Model for the Effectiveness of Biofeedback Interventions for Anxiety Regulation: Viewpoint

An Integrative Model for the Effectiveness of Biofeedback Interventions for Anxiety Regulation: Viewpoint

Furthermore, similar mechanisms of change can be identified in both biofeedback and meditation. For instance, similar physiological patterns of change are found in response to biofeedback as well as mediation [71], such as a coherent cardiac rhythm [72,73]. Another similarity is that both practices encourage individuals to shift their attention to internal experiences.
