Best Practice Guide for Reducing Barriers to Video Call–Based Telehealth: Modified Delphi Study Among Health Care Professionals

A total of 9 health care professionals (4 physiotherapists (PTs), 3 speech and language therapists (SLTs), 1 dietitian, and 1 midwife) were purposively recruited based on their experience with telehealth. All participants were licensed and currently practicing health care professionals with at least 2 years of experience in their field. They each had conducted a minimum of 10 video-based telehealth sessions in the preceding quarter and practiced in an area where telehealth is applicable.

They will be rostered to cover all 4 shifts of the roster to ensure that every recruited woman will be supported to push spontaneously by a recruited and trained midwife. All recruited midwives will be interviewed for the qualitative study part. The eligibility criteria for women and midwives are presented in Textboxes 1 and 2.

Supporting Midwifery Students During Clinical Practice: Results of a Systematic Scoping Review

The program promoted peer midwife to midwife support. Student-mentor relationships are crucial for students’ achievements and learning outcomes. Midwifery students need to feel valued and included in the team, learning was based on students’ expectations, understanding, and previous experience. Mutual engagement with mentors is necessary. The program provided mentor support to new midwifery graduate and increased their confidence in the first year of practice as a registered midwife.
