A Digital Program for Daily Life Management With Endometriosis: Pilot Cohort Study on Symptoms and Quality of Life Among Participants

As the first step, 120 semistructured interviews and >100 web-based questionnaires with patients and health professionals were conducted to understand the needs of women with endometriosis. According to this user research, the primary need expressed by women with endometriosis was to find help with the daily management of symptoms, especially pain. A small exploratory preliminary program was developed and tested by women to complement the user research.

Racial and ethnic minority individuals in the United States, particularly those with limited English proficiency (LEP) [1], experience significant health disparities; for example, despite high incidence rates of cervical cancer, early detection through regular screening remains low among these populations, especially among women with LEP [2-4]. As a result, racial and ethnic minority women often present with more advanced disease stages than non-Hispanic White women [5].
